Grace Potter’s new album Trespasser is up for pre-order at The Poet’s Vault, pressed on an Indie Exclusive light blue vinyl. Billed as the spiritual sequel to 2023’s Mother Road, the four-time Grammy nominee’s seventh studio LP finds her firmly anchored in her own vision after years of restless cross-country travel between her Topanga Canyon home and her native Vermont.
The record was produced by her husband and longtime collaborator Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, Slash), and recorded in stages: starting in Topanga with Benmont Tench, continuing in Nashville with players from Cage the Elephant, Kings of Leon, and Train, and wrapping in Vermont with members of her touring band. The result is a wayward, wide-ranging sound — stripped-bare soul, cosmic country, and full-throttle rock & roll — all carried by Potter’s unmistakable voice.
